Our Greenhouse plants and seedlings

This is our greenhouse on April 10, 2010. It has been unseasonably hot this spring we have had days in the upper 80's. Our greenhouse is like most a spring and fall early winter house and there is no cooling system. We heat with a small portable propane heater occaisionally but most times we heat with two electric oil filled radiant heaters that are very safe and they have timers. The fan is on a thermostat that will power the fan when it gets too hot in the house. All of our plants are grown as natural as possible but they are not all truly organic. The only fertilizer we use is fish emulsion that also contains seaweed. We put water into containers like laundry bottles and two litre bottles so the chlorine while disipate and the water will be the right temperature so we do not shock the plants. It's best to water in the morning so you do not have too much humidity at night.
